WOJAKVROS

we didn't try. you're welcome.

Wojakvros isn't just one character. It's all of us who know that people who try always lose. So naturally, we decided not to try at all.

a week in the life of wojak

same seven days. same wojak. checks robinhood before he checks his own feelings.

Sunday

morning

wakes up, grabs the phone, says "5 more minutes." three hours disappear.

afternoon

opens robinhood. everything's red. closes it. opens it again anyway.

wojak sitting on the kitchen floor by the fridge
evening

sits on the kitchen floor. fridge is full. nothing in it counts as a meal.

night

tells himself monday will be different. it won't be, but it's a nice thought.

Monday

morning

alarm goes off. gets snoozed six times. this counts as a personal record.

afternoon

technically working. mentally somewhere off the coast of nowhere.

wojak eating a sandwich alone
evening

eats a sandwich by himself. tv's on. nobody's watching it, including him.

night

robinhood again. still red. checks his feelings never.

Tuesday

morning

doesn't want to get up. gets up anyway. decides that counts as trying.

afternoon

doesn't talk to anyone. nobody notices. he notices.

wojak on the couch with a controller and empty bottles
evening

controller in hand, game on, brain fully powered off. it's the only rest he gets.

night

counts the empty bottles on the table. decides to count them properly tomorrow.

Wednesday

morning

"halfway through the week" — as if that means something got done.

afternoon

scrolls. scrolls. scrolls. the app doesn't care, and neither does he, apparently.

wojak standing in a crowd of identical people
evening

surrounded by people all day. still manages to feel completely alone.

night

lost in thought. no specific thought. just the general weather of one.

Thursday

morning

plans the weekend. it's a good plan. it will not survive contact with the weekend.

afternoon

stares at a chart. understands none of it. keeps staring anyway.

wojak lying in bed in the dark, staring at the ceiling
evening

sits alone. the room gets darker before he bothers with the light.

night

can't sleep. the phone becomes the only company that doesn't ask questions.

Friday

morning

"today's the day I do something different." narrator: he did not.

afternoon

everyone else has plans. he has wifi.

wojak lying in bed at night, lit only by his phone
evening

same routine, new day. the routine doesn't seem to mind.

night

robinhood, one more time. hope, also one more time. red, also also one more time.

Saturday

morning

sleeps in, because last night's phone shift ran long.

wojak driving, gripping the steering wheel, staring blankly ahead
afternoon

drives around with nowhere to be. nothing gets done, and for once nothing was really planned either.

evening

controller, bottles, silence. the usual cast, the usual show.

night

wonders when the cycle breaks. doesn't wonder hard enough to break it.

Sunday, again

morning

wakes up. grabs the phone. says "5 more minutes." you've read this one already.

wojak resting his head against the bus window, half asleep
commute

leans on the window. doesn't sleep. doesn't wake up either, not really.

the loop closes here. nothing changed. that's kind of the whole point.

Wojak sleeps till late at night so he can live out his dreams in his sleep, because in real life, he's not accomplishing shit.

you scrolled all the way down. that's the most effort you'll make today.

changelog: nothing changed. last updated: never.
